Experience
With a PhD in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and a BA from UCLA, I can help with reading, writing, or critical thinking for any student up to the college level, as well as help students prepare for the SAT, GRE, or LSAT. I have over ten years of private tutoring and teaching experience with a diverse group of students from elementary school to universities. I have taught at the University of Notre Dame, Saint Louis University, and the City University of Hong Kong. I have also won the Outstanding Teaching Award given by the University of Notre Dame's Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning (2009). I have also worked as an LSAT prep instructor for Kaplan. I am a passionate, resourceful, and dedicated teacher and can clearly and effectively communicate ideas and concepts to students of all levels. My aim is not only to help each student achieve any particular academic goal, but to equip him or her with the skills necessary for success in life.
