I believe in working closely with my students by asking them questions about the problems they are trying to solve. This not only allows them to think independently and on their own, it also allows me to observe how they learn best, and adapt my teaching techniques from there. Once I have done that, I am able to create a learning situation that best serves them and their needs.I have been a Math and Physics tutor for seven years, and I have teaching experience at SXU and UIC. I work with students in a variety of subjects, including Calculus 1-3, Differential Equations, Statistics, Competition Math, Multivariable Calculus, Graduate-Level Statistics, Physics, Science, Math, Russian, Languages, Quantum Physics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Mechanics, Newtonian Mechanics, Linear Algebra, and Probability. I also help students with test prep, including the MCAT and GRE exams, and offer homework assistance as well.I am a graduate of Moscow PhysTech, where I earned a B.S. in Physics. Because I attended school in Russia, I am fluent in the language. I also have an M.S. in Physics, which I earned from UIC. When I'm not busy working, I love to dance, particularly the tango.
