Forrest B.
Private tutor in Evanston, IL
Education
I'm currently a junior at Northwestern and am double majoring in Psychology and Social Policy.
Experience
I've the past two summers tutoring in Minneapolis. The children I've worked with were K-12. The majority of these kids were in grades 4-9, but I have sufficient experience working with all ages. I thoroughly enjoy working with children. Working with youth keeps me young, and serving as a mentor to help teach and prepare a child for adulthood is one of the most fulfilling things you can do with your life. As a psychology major, I'm most interested studying the ways that new knowledge is processed and methods that enhance a student's learning environment. When I'm out of school, I'd like to work towards improving public education.
