I tutor many subjects but my favorites are chemistry, biology, and math. Also, I put lots of emphasis on comprehension and preparation for standardized tests such as the MCAT, ACT, and others. I'm proficient in Spanish, and spent the fall of 2014 living in Seville, Spain, and can tutor in that as well. The best practice when learning a language is to use conversation. I always engage the student whether teaching elementary/middle school math, college essays, honors chemistry, or providing summer tutoring to prepare them for the next school year.I'm currently in my third year at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. I hope to obtain B.S. degrees in Spanish and Biology plus a Certificate in Leadership. Also, I've been a volunteer tutor through Centro Hispano and have helped various high school students. I worked for another tutoring company as well, helping junior high school students in Madison, Wisconsin. My experiences have helped me become a better tutor in subjects anywhere from low level algebra to students at the gifted level. Now living in Northbrook, Illinois, I watch and play a variety of sports. Professional and collegiate football and basketball are my favorites. I also love to travel when there is the time.
