Experience
I've been teaching for upwards of ten years, and I'm excited to continue working as a tutor. I have experience teaching Italian and Spanish to students of many ages and levels, from children to eighth graders. I'm a believer of the Total Physical Response and Storytelling teaching technique, and I employ it in my work. I also find it important to integrate fun/entertainment into teaching a language to make it more relatable and accessible. I'm familiar with International Baccalaureate coursework, and can tutor IB Geography HL/SL, in addition to Social Studies, Spanish, Italian, Art, Criminal Law, Latin American History, and Ceramics. I attended Northeastern Illinois University, and I currently live in Evanston, IL. In my free time, I love to travel and dance Salsa.
