I am a Writer, English Language Consultant and Cultural Liaison, who provides private, customized Writing and Communication services to native and second language English speakers in the Chicago area. I have taught English to adults, at Harold Washington College (Chicago), Kaplan Aspect (Chicago and Seattle), in adult education programs, and at 100's of different companies. I have worked with BA, MA and PhD students, engineers, accountants, pharmacists, doctors, lawyers, forklift drivers, assembly line workers, moms/dads and people who are in all types of transitions. I have worked with people from Japan, China, Taiwan, Chile, Brazil, Columbia, Bulgaria, Russia, and France, to name a few. I provide extensive writing instruction (essay, research paper, resume, cover letter, email, presentations, Power Point), as well as detailed lessons in grammar, idioms, and pronunciation/accent reduction. I practice advanced-level conversation skills with international clients. I also edit any type of writing, in person or online, and help clients write online content.
