I have tutored/mentored reluctant HS students on study skills with good results. I can relate to and sympathize with students who are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of work and feel scared or distracted by college looming over them. I understand that some subject take longer to grasp and want to share my hard won secrets to learning these. 5 on AP Statistics, AP Spanish, AP US History. SAT CR 760; SAT W 790. A in College Psychology, Economics, Freshman Seminar Writing. My short film selected by 2 film festivals. I have experience with film editing software (Photoshop, Final Cut Pro 7 & X, Avid). I keep an eye out for computer programs & techniques that make college studying/writing easier. Familiar with both PC and Apple computers.

Hobbies
Varsity fencer, foil. My HS team went to NJ State Championships my junior and senior year. Started Anime Club in 2008 and it's still going strong! Attend at least one anime convention each year. Loved my 7 years as a dog walker because I can't have a dog at home. My family are avid football and tennis fans. Love to help younger brother who struggles with study/life skills. Because I was younger than most of my classmates and shy, I had to teach myself to speak up in class and find a way to contribute/compete. College life is going really well, in part because of the skills and choices made in high school.
