Education
I am currently a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Environmental Science. I have a 3.97 GPA and was recently recognized as one of the top three Northwestern senior students in the natural sciences. I have applied to graduate programs in Microbiology in the hopes of continuing my science education next fall after I graduate from Northwestern. I have worked as a tutor both at high school and at college tutoring subjects in math and science. I love working with other students and helping them succeed in the classroom!
Experience
I have experience tutoring from both high school and college. In high school, I served as a peer tutor in algebra and calculus. This meant that three times a week, I would devote my lunch hour to helping other students take on the challenges of the classroom. I love tutoring because I love being able to help and connect with my peers. I have not yet found a more worthwhile way to spend my lunchtime! In college, I have had my own experience being on the receiving end of tutor assistance; as a result, I truly appreciate and understand the student perspective. Now as a senior, I have worked as a tutor for high school students in the area. I have had extensive experience tutoring AP Physics B. Before each session, I prepare study tools and formula sheets for my students, and at the end of the session we outline goals for the following week. I also make myself available via email and text for any late-night questions that arise. I do all that I can to help my students succeed!

Hobbies
When I'm not in the classroom, I can be found on the athletic fields--I love to be outside playing sports! I currently play on Northwestern's club soccer and club softball team; and when that's not enough, I join in on any intramural games that I can!
