I'm the oldest of four so I've always had to help out with math, science, English and even art homework. I've always enjoyed teaching and I've found myself to be a very patient person. IF someone doesn't understand what I'm trying to explain, I'll try to explain it another way with another angle. It feels very satisfying when someone finally understands the concept. I've tutored in elementary schools, been a mentor and tutor for nonprofit organizations that help troubled kids and I'm a peer educator on campus!

HobbiesI was eight years old when I moved from China to the States. I've kept my Chinese pretty well intact and developed a love for the English Language as well! I'm a journalism major who has worked as a on-air reporter at a national TV station in South Africa, a reporter for abc7chicago.com, an editor and web manager for Scranton Gillette Communications and a reporter for the Eagle Tribune.
I love to travel and be outdoors. If I had a year to do anything I want, I would climb all of the mountains in the world! If I had all the money in the world I would go on a sinful shopping spree. I'm outdoorsy and I love art and fashion.
I know my passion is in journalism but I hope one day to go to film school and use more creativity to tell stories.
I'm definitely someone who likes meeting new people. I can't sit in front of a computer all day. Please free free to call me at 978.809.8849! I'd love to talk to you.
Client Reviews (1)
Cindy is a fantastic tutor. Our teenage daughter liked her a lot, and never objected to attending her tutoring sessions. Cindy knew the material (Algebra 2) well, and even took the time to review the relevant chapters before the tutoring sessions, to be sure they were as productive as possible. She also did an excellent job explaining the material (better than our daughter's teacher!). Our daughter got the best grade in her class, and more importantly, understood the material really well. Cindy is multi-talented and I would have confidence that Cindy can do a great job tutoring any subject that she says she's comfortable tutoring.
